Subject for today: Physical Contact. This past week I've been thinking about it and I realize I don't do that much at all. Almost rarely. The only people I've had extensive physical contact with is my mom and past girlfriends. I was trying to figure out why that was. I realized I didn't mind physcial contact . I actually really like it. But the thing is that I'm not used to it. It has something to do with me having difficulties with intimacy. Take for example some of my past relationships. The hardest part was the first contact. Hands, face, kissing, etc. Everyone a hurdle. After the first contact, things were easier and much more comfortable. Hmmm... I guess I don't like making the first move either. It's tough reading the other person and I don't want to read them wrong. My solution: Shy away from physical contact and you won't screw up! ^_^ I just love my messed up logic. Like i said, i rarely recieve it, so I usually can actually list them all off. Most recent physical contact: Hug from Peggy (very nice ^_^) This all came about over the weekend on the backpacking trip when Erica patted me on the back. I didn't really know her at all, so I was a bit stunned mentally. It then got me thinking about all this. I've probably gone weeks with out touching or being touched by another person. Interesting..... I had a blast this Halloween! I dressed up as Tuxedo mask. It was great. Nate, my room mate, dressed in drag. Aubrey, his girlfriend, dressed up in a nice dress. Peggy dressed up as Sailor Mars. Oh yeah! I'm more of a fan of Sailor Jupiter but i made an exception that night! ^_~ Marla, a friend of Peggy's dressed in a i guess you could say "Sexy" bat costume. They were all in our dorm room, plus Whitney and Lydia, dancing around to music. Great stuff. Later that night, went to a punk/ska thing. Good stuff. I highly recommend No Reason Given. In other news, I just found out today that I did really awesome on a Discrete Math test. I'm very happy. I took the test and finished in about 20 minutes. Mind you this tests is one of 3 tests that make up a mighty big part of your grade. I got done way before anyone else. I left the room worried as hell that I'd fucked it up hardcore, but.... I didn't!! YAY! I registered for classes yesterday too. 17 credit hours. It's not going to be that bad either. One of my classes is the History of Comic books. That's going to be a fun. I hope. |
